九龙坡：与江为伴 与鹭同行
Stretching 31 kilometers, the Jiulongpo section of the Yangtze River is home to China’s first egret reserve. After nearly disappearing in the 1950s, egrets gradually returned thanks to long-term grassroots conservation and official protection efforts. A retired fisherman has witnessed the change firsthand, living by the river for decades alongside the egrets.
长江九龙坡段共31公里，全国第一个白鹭自然保护区就在这里。上世纪50年代，白鹭一度绝迹，随着村民自发植树护鸟，政府设立保护区，鹭群才逐渐回归。长江畔的一位退捕老渔民，成了这一切的见证者，半个多世纪以来，他以江为伴，与鹭同行。
